Stacey is a Licensed Master’s Clinical Social Worker. She has 17+ years of experience working with children, young adults, individuals and families as an empathetic agent of support, guidance and positive change. Her professional life includes a commitment to serving the needs of children and families as a School Social Worker. She is also an Adjunct Professor, in the School of Social Work, at Wayne State University. She attended the University of Detroit and received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and soon after obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University.
Stacey also has a vast amount of experience in a variety of settings, such as hospitals, schools, psychiatric units, domestic violence shelters, as well as, providing tele-therapy. She has worked with a diverse group of clients, which have included both long-term and short-term/brief interventions. She has expertise in the areas of depression, anxiety, grief and loss, ADHD, emotional impairment, positive parenting, stress and school related issues.
Stacey believes that change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, happy lives. Stacey provides an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive.
