With over five years of experience supporting students across 504 plans, general education, and special education in K-12 settings, she brings a calm, patient, and compassionate presence to her work with clients and families.
Catherine specializes in working with adolescents and young adults, drawing from her extensive background as a school counseling intern, special education paraeducator, and mentor. She holds dual B.A. degrees in Economics and Psychology from Michigan State University and earned her M.A. in School Counseling with a concentration in Community Mental Health in 2025. Catherine has received specialized training in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI). During her practicum and internship, she applied evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She also co-facilitated high school therapy groups focused on grief and anger management in collaboration with a local therapy practice and school staff.
Outside of her work in education and therapy, Catherine enjoys cooking, running, driving to music, listening to podcasts, and watching golf. She also finds joy in spending time with her coworkers' therapy dog.
