Hello! I am a licensed therapist with over 15 years of experience working with adults, children, and adolescents navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, and life stressors/ transitions. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), with a strong emphasis on understanding the connection between the brain, body, thoughts, and emotions. I believe that emotional distress is not "all in your head"— Difficult experiences can train the brain and the body to stay on high alert, even when we're safe. This can impact/change how we think, how we feel emotionally, and how we react. In therapy, we will take time to identify/understand these patterns, so you can start to feel like yourself again.
