Lori is a licensed professional counselor with many years of experience helping children, teens and parents overcome anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. Lori utilizes an eclectic approach to suit the needs of each individual client. She specializes in treating anxiety and mood related disorders as well as behavioral disorders and ADHD.
Lori's goal is to help children and teens strive to reach their highest potential by utilizing cognitive behavior therapy, play therapy, and family therapy in her practice. She facilitates social skills groups to help children and adolescents learn to communicate and gain the necessary tools to problem solve indecently.
Lori received a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in Elementary Education and a Master's of Arts from Oakland University in counseling. She has previous experience as a school counselor at Birmingham Covington School. Prior to that time, she was a psychotherapist in Novi at Oakland Behavioral Health. Lori connects easily to others, making them feel comfortable so they can begin working towards their goals.
